You will be a great fit if you have a deeply analytical and methodical approach to understanding users and delivering results. You'll be working directly with the CEO and cross-functionally with engineering, operations, growth, and support teams. The ability to continuously prioritize shifting initiatives, unblock others, parallelize workstreams, make decisions based on data, and provide fully scoped requirements (with design mockups) will be imperative.

Ideally you will have:
  • 4+ years of experience in product management
  • Growth and analytically minded 
  • Ability to use research, data, your experience, and product instincts to identify the most impactful areas of focus
  • Experience using A/B testing to optimize consumer web experiences
  • Excellent project management skills, and ability to own a roadmap end-to-end
  • Detail-oriented with excellent verbal and written communications
  • Have a demonstrated ability to drive business results in a collaborative, cross-functional environment
  • Knowing how to code is not a requirement, but through education or experience, you have the ability to work closely with engineers to evaluate different approaches to implementing product features, weighing tradeoffs and other priorities effectively
  • Having design experience is a huge plus
  • Genuine excitement about scaling a nascent platform 
  • An ownership mentality

What you will be responsible for

  • Develop a deep understanding of current product capabilities and limitations
  • Bridging the gap between present-day functionality and the required future state of the product, driven by understanding the evolving needs of our users
  • Ongoing expertise in the newsletter and creator space 
  • Clearly identifying user pain points through extensive user research
  • Prioritizing initiatives that provide the most immediate value to users and unblock other future initiatives
  • Create thorough PRDs that can be handed off to engineers for technical scoping
  • Scoping individual tickets with design mocks
  • Effectively communicating with the engineering team to align initiatives and ensure sprint targets are being met
  • Helping to craft quarterly roadmaps 
  • Working closely with the operations and support team to be on the front lines of user issues and complaints
  • Ability to take a problem, evaluate several solutions, determine the best one, and thoroughly explain your thought process in addition to outlining the requirements and next steps to build said solution
